Are we finally going to get to see the original 3 hour theatrical version of Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez's GRINDHOUSE when it hits Blu-Ray on August 11th? If this rumor holds any truth, it's very possible. Blu-Ray.com posted the following: "An early announcement to retailers indicates that Genius Products and The Weinstein Company are set to release Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's 'Grindhouse' on Blu-ray on August 11. No edition details are available, other than this would be a two-disc set, but it may well be the theatrical Grindhouse double feature"

It seems the Blu-Ray release is being timed with Tarantino's latest THE INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. No word on if the 2 disc set sports the full theatrical experience or both films seperated onto 2 discs (the way they were released on DVD) but we're hoping Disc One will have the 3 hour cut with the fictious trailers and Disc Two will cart over all the extras from the previous release. More when we hear it!
