Carrier Talent Management has announced that actor Bronson Pelletier has joined the cast in "a lead role" for NEW MOON, the sequel to TWILIGHT, (also going under the moniker of "THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON"), although which role the young actor will be playing has yet to be revealed. The agency released the following statement about their client: “Congratulations to Bronson who scores a lead role in the highly anticipated ‘Twilight’ feature film sequel ‘New Moon’. It’s rumored he will be co-starring with Dakota Fanning.”

The release date for NEW MOON is currently set for November 20th, 2009 with shooting set to begin on March 23rd! (The third TWILIGHT film ECLIPSE is penciled into a June 30th, 2010 release date.) Check out details for the TWILIGHT ULTIMATE EDITION BOXED SET out on May 5th right HERE!

Based on the hit novel series by Stephenie Meyer, TWILIGHT was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, Edi Gathegi, Rachelle Lefevre, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, Cam Cigandet, Kellan Lutz, Anna Kendrick and Taylor Lautner. Chris Weitz will direct the sequel NEW MOON.
