Earlier today, we posted speculation that Paramount was planning more "deluxe" special editions of the FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise after filmmaker Adam Green revealed on his blog that he & Joe Lynch recorded a commentary track for FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 4: THE FINAL CHAPTER. Now, several horror folks have confirmed that they've also recorded commentary tracks for upcoming editions of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 4: THE FINAL CHAPTER, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 5: A NEW BEGINNING and JASON LIVES: FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI.

Dread Central's Uncle Creepy tackled the commentary track for Part 5 with Horror.com's Staci Layne Wilson. Uncle Creepy and Shock Till You Drop's Ryan Rotten handled moderating duties on Part 6. And as reported earlier Adam Green (HATCHET) and Joe Lynch (WRONG TURN 2) recorded a commentary for Part 4.

No word yet on other special features or other commentaries but rest assured, with Dan Farrands producing, these discs are defintiely in good hands. (Farrands also recently directed the FRIDAY THE 13TH documentary HIS NAME WAS JASON which hits store shelves on February 3rd)
