Rob Zombie revealed the first 2 members of his H2 (aka HALLOWEEN 2) cast via his My Space blog. Ezra Buzzington joins the cast as Ned Atkins. Zombie writes, "Ezra has joined the cast of H2 as Ned Atkins - beer delivery man for The Rabbit In Red Club. Unfortunately Ezra's scene were cut from Halloween, so he had to come back and rock it again."

Also freshly cast in the film is actor Jeff Daniel Phillips. On this choice, Zombie writes, "Jeff Daniel Phillips has joined the cast of H2 as Howard Boggs - the bouncer at The Rabbit in Red club. If you don't recognize the Jeff as his normal self you might know him from his genius Geico TV spots."

Lastly, he confirms that composer Tyler Bates is back for HALLOWEEN 2. "Tyler Bates has returned to begin work on H2. Fresh off his composer duties on DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and The WATCHMEN. The man himself will begin work immediately on the soundtrack to H2. Expect a bold new direction for the sounds to make you shiver."

The follow up, going under the shooting title of H2 picks up immediately where the first HALLOWEEN left off. At press time, besides the above only Tyler Mane is officially signed on to reprise his role as Michael Myers. (No word on Scout Taylor-Compton, Malcolm McDowell or Danielle Harris yet, but they're all expected to return.) Shooting begins in February 23rd in Atlanta, Georgia with a August 28th, 2009 release date locked.

Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am responding to the posts I have just seen about potentially being an extra in Halloween 2. Look, I know that the deadline has passed, but I just found out about this, and I could be on board immediately to help and/or be an extra in this project. Not only are my friends and I probably the biggest Rob Zombie fans ever, but acting has been my dream for such a long time, and I've been trying very hard to get started in the business, and I would love nothing more than an opportunity to be a part of this movie. My friends and I actually made our own horror movie over the summer, and Rob Zombie's creative and original work on his movies was a big inspiration. If I can be an extra or help out in the production of the movie whatsoever, please let me know. I am very hardworking and dedicated when it comes to something I am passionate about, and acting and film are my biggest passions. I can send you some really good photos if you give me an email address to send them to. Please get in touch with me if there's any way I can be a part of this. Thank you.
