Variety reports that Ning Hao (the director behind CRAZY STONE) will helm THE HOST 2, the sequel to the successful Korean horror film by Bong Joon-ho. THE HOST 2 will be produced by the Chungeorahm company of Korea with Stone Man Films of China and is budgeted at $12 million. "The theme involves citizens ignoring a monstrous threat due to their greed for money." The first HOST is one of the best monster movies we've seen in years, so naturally we're excited for the follow-up! Shooting for THE HOST 2 begins early 2009!
