Ever since movie goers were teased this past summer by a mysterious trailer that only revealed 1-18-08 as the films release date, people have been wondering what the movie is and what it's about! Well, the official title is CLOVERFIELD and the studio has released an official synopsis, hot on the heels of the recently released full length trailer. Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.
