David Fincher's ZODIAC on DVD today! It's a MUST-RENT, but wait for the Director's Cut to BUY!
David Fincher's ZODIAC hit's DVD shelves today, and while I absolutely LOVED the movie, I'm actually not going to buy it! Why? Because this bare-bones edition is going to be replaced with an extensive director's cut sometime next year. Now, again, the movie is fantastic, so definitely rent it. Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr totally steal every scene they're in, and Jake Gyllenhaal does a great job carrying the rest of the film. While a bare-bones edition of ZODIAC is officially released on DVD on July 24th, DavisDVD.com is reporting a 2 Disc Director's Cut for next year.
