When we talk about comics we tend to look at the superheroes and their impressive deeds. All of the films concentrate on them, and the video games are based on them. What about the super villains? Many of us are fans of them, yet they have to take the backseat when it comes to popular culture.

The times are changing though, and with Suicide Squad coming to the big screen we get to see a new version of The Joker and Harley Quinn along with some other of the bad guys ready to do battle for a good cause. Though it is fair to note that they are being coerced into it.

So who are the big stars when it comes to villains in comics? When we look at Marvel and DC there tend to be some big ones, and they do have many things in common. We of course have Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin who has had a huge impact on the Marvel Universe. He is arguably comparable to Lex Luthor, Superman’s arch nemesis who has caused no end of problems for the Man of Steel.

Moving down the ranks, Batman is another hero from DC who has a certain nemesis that many of us can’t help but love. The Joker is a jovial character who hasHQ haunted Batman’s history for many years, along with his companion Harley Quinn. While she can be somewhat of a tragic character based on her devotion to The Joker, he is one that while he has done very dark things, tends to gather fans because of his style.

Marvel have enemies that are equally as iconic as the DC characters. With Venom and Carnage being two of the more macabre. It is fair to say though that while Marvel do have many super-villains that are out of this world, the many that have more impact are the more grounded like Kingpin who tends to wield huge amounts of power.

With the comic book characters becoming ever popular, and their rise in computer games starting to grow, it will be interesting to see which supervillains are used. They can cause plenty of chaos in the games they enter, even explore with mobile casino  so there is no end to their power.

Which are your favorite super villains of the comic book world? With our choice edging towards The Joker, there are no end to the possibilities of choice on this one.
