CONTRACTED Director Eric England Returns with Kidnapping Gone Wrong Film GET THE GIRL!!

This is one I’ve been waiting for, even before it went into production. While hanging out a couple of years ago, my good friend (and sometimes Icons contributor) Graham Denman told me a really cool idea he had for a film. I won’t get into the details of the film, but a good while later, Graham sold his story idea and Eric England came on board to rewrite it and helm the film, now called GET THE GIRL.

Today, an exclusive piece on the film ran over at the always awesome EW, complete with stills from the film, as well as some new info regarding the kidnapping gone wrong film.

From the EW piece:

The film concerns a wealthy young man who stages a fake kidnapping in order to be a hero and win the affection of a girl with whom he’s madly in love. When one of the hired kidnappers is accidentally killed during the charade, he’s forced to actually save her life while not revealing that it’s been a ruse all along.

GET THE GIRL stars Justin Dobies (DEAR WHITE PEOPLE), Noah Segan (DEADGIRL, LOOPER), Elizabeth Whitson (AWKWARD), Scout Taylor-Compton (RZ’s HALLOWEEN films), James Landry Hébert (HBO’s upcoming TV series of Westworld), actor-producer Adi Shankar (THE VOICES), and Jerry Purpdrank
