Carnage galore in new Teaser Poster for Rob Zombie’s 31; Film Makes its Debut At Sundance’s Midnight Selection
We’ve all been crazy excited for Rob Zombie’s upcoming hardcore horror film 31 to arrive, and it’s not only making its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival (Playing on January 23rd in the Midnight section), but we now have an awesome looking poster debut. The film, which deals with a group who are abducted and thrown into a murderously terrifying game in “Murder World”, complete with killer clowns and some very off kilter villains.
Personally, I couldn’t be more excited to see Zombie give us horror fans another original tale, because it’s those films of his that really stand out. He’s got a solid cast with this one, and from the artwork I’ve seen, and the epic fight he’s had with the MPAA trying to get an R rating (It was rated NC-17 twice before finally getting an R), this one is destined to be a splattery good time.
31 tells the story of five carnies in 1976 kidnapped on the morning of Halloween and held hostage in a remote industrial Hell. While trapped, they are forced to play a violent game called 31. The mission is to survive 12 hours against an endless gang of grease— painted maniacs.
31 makes its world premiere on January 23rd, in the Midnight section of the Sundance Film Festival.
