Anchor Bay Announces Theatrical/VOD & Digital HD releases of the MARTYRS remake; Photo Gallery

martyrsAnchor Bay has announced the theatrical, Digital HD and VOD dates for the remake that nobody asked for, but will be given, the Goetz Brothers’ remake of the 2008 French extreme classic MARTYRS. The film had its world premiere earlier this year and it looks like the redux will be release in limited theaters and Digital HD on January 22nd and on VOD on February 2nd. Pascal Laugier’s original film is already a horror classic, one that genre fans hold pretty close to their blood soaked hearts, so the new of a remake coming not even ten years later has made horror fans a bit irritated, but like a lot of films, you know we’ll all be watching it to see how this remake is. What do you fright fanatics think? We’ve got a few photos from the film, thanks to Anchor Bay, so feel free to check them out.
