A gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the “mogwai” but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

With Director Dante appearing for a special Q&A regarding the classics comedic creature features he made, the first of which is widely considered a classic film in the history of ’80s cinema.

Thu, June 11th, 2015– Exclusive Sneak Preview screening of Dante’s BURYING THE EX, complete with a Q&A featuring Dante and stars Anton Yelchin (LIKE CRAZY, STAR TREK), & Alexandra Daddario (TEXAS CHAINSAW, SAN ANDREAS, True Detective) In Person! @7:30PM

It seemed like a great idea when all-around nice guy Max (ANTON YELCHIN, Star Trek) and his beautiful girlfriend, Evelyn (ASHLEY GREENE, Twilight Saga) moved in together. But when Evelyn turns out to be a controlling, manipulative nightmare, Max knows it’s time to call it quits. There’s just one problem: he’s terrified of breaking up with her. Fate steps in when Evelyn is the victim of a fatal, freak accident, leaving Max single and ready to mingle. Just as Max is thinking about moving on with what could be his dream girl, Olivia (Alexandra Daddario, True Detective) – Evelyn has returned from the grave and is determined to get her boyfriend back…even if that means transforming him into one of the undead.

Fri, Jun 12, 2015– THE ‘BURBS / MATINEE
Settling in for some time off in his suburban home, Ray Peterson’s (Tom Hanks) vacation becomes a horror when the Klopeks, a suspiciously odd family, move in down the block. Enlisting the aid of his paranoid buddy, Art (Rick Ducommun), and his militia-man neighbor, Rumsfield (Bruce Dern), Ray sends his son and wife (Carrie Fisher) away on a trip while he investigates the Klopeks. When a neighbor disappears, Ray and his cohorts risk their lives to save their cul-de-sac from the clutches of evil.

Director Dante will appear for a Q&A regarding both films.  @7:30PM

A scientifically miniaturized marine unexpectedly finds himself floating around the body of a hypochondriac, and trying to outwit saboteurs who want the device that shrank him. Attempts by his colleagues to retrieve the little man – protected inside a tiny submersible – are hampered by the would-be thieves.

Director Dante will appear fora Q&A regarding both films @7:30PM

Personally, I couldn’t think of a retrospective that just SCREAMS fun as much as Dante’s and it sounds like a hell of a time. For tickets/additional info, feel free to visit: and
