Jason R. Miller, one of the producers behind films like FROZEN (not the “Let It Go” one, but I’m sure you fright fanatics already know that), HATCHET 2, CHILLERAMA and the director of UNIDENTIFIED, has started principal photography on his second film, the creepy looking BLOODHOUND. The film, featuring Ed Ackerman (Frozen, 17 Again) and David Foy (Hatchet 2), Miles Dougal (Director’s Cut., Detroit Rock City), Jess Allen (Broken Glass), and Silvia Moore (Lords of Salem, Chillerama), looks (from the stills sent to us) to be quite the shocker, with a very unsettling look to it. Personally, I’m excited as hell about this one, due to the hilarious performances Ackerman and Foy gave in HATCHET 2, it’ll be fun to see both of them play off each other again, this time in a terrifyingly serious angle.
“In BLOODHOUND, private investigator Abel Walker (Ackerman) along with his cameraman, Jim (Foy), are on the hunt for a missing woman. As they unravel the mystery of her disappearance, they become caught in a sick and violent game that will end in murder.”
BLOODHOUND will be Miller’s second directorial film, from a script he wrote and is being produced by Unidentified Productions, which Miller formed with producing partners Parry Shen and Eddie Mui in 2013. James Rossi is executive producer.
