SCREAM FACTORY Keeps Announcements Coming With FOUR New Titles!

Earlier this week, Scream Factory announced a few of their upcoming titles, and just because they like to make horror fans’ hearts skip a beat or two, they’ve now announced FOUR additional titles. Personally, I love the variety of the recent announcements, with horror comedies thrown in there as well, because let’s face it: things can’t be gloomy all of the time. It really shows SF’s varying tastes when to genre films, and films like VAMPIRE’S KISS, HIGH SPIRITS and GHOULIES/GHOULIES II are four films that I’ve always liked. As a kid, anything that Empire/Full Moon released, I was there, and though the cover art for GHOULIES scared the living hell out of me, the actual film and its sequel gave fans good times. Plus, is there really ever a Nicolas Cage freakout movie that is on par with the wackiness of VAMPIRE’S KISS? For all of the info released thus far, read on!

(FEB. 2015)

“Our month-long “Shocktober” celebration continues with two more films to reveal. The 1988 horror comedies VAMPIRE’S KISS (with Nicholas Cage) and HIGH SPIRITS (with Peter O’Toole, Steve Guttenberg and Daryl Hannah) will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Feb as a double-feature

Artwork you see here is final. There are no details on extras at this time. Any updates on them will be announced by the end of this year.”

(Spring 2015)

“1984’s GHOULIES and its 1988 sequel GHOULIES II (Both from Empire Films/Charles Band) will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Spring as a double-feature!

There are no details on extras at this time and they will be announced sometime next year, along with a confirmed street date.”

I couldn’t be more excited about all four of these ones, as like I previously said, I’m a big fan of all of them. What do you fright fanatics think? Will you be picking these ones up?..and another good question, WHAT WILL Scream Factory be announcing next?!
