NBC Births First Look At ROSEMARY’S BABY Mini-Series!

NBC is continuing to adapt more beloved horror fare for primetime with a four horror, two-part mini-series of ROSEMARY’S BABY, that’ll air sometime this Summer. Normally we wouldn’t garner much anticipation for the genre to be given justice on basic cable, but a little show named HANNIBAL has changed that forever. Apart from currently being one of the best shows on television, HANNIBAL has raised the bar in terms of production value and shows just how far the envelope can be pushed with on-screen carnage. This alone gives me hope not just for ROSEMARY, but future genre shows to come.

Today NBC revealed a tiny teaser for the mini-series (that strangely bears the same tagline as this past January’s dud DEVIL’S DUE), which you can watch below.

Based on the 1967 best-selling suspense novel by Ira Levin, this new adaptation of ROSEMARY’S BABY centers on a young married couple who escapes New York and moves to Paris with hopes of leaving their sad past behind. After a series of unfortunate events, Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse are presented with an offer they can’t refuse – an apartment at the most prestigious address in the city. Problem is, it comes with a haunted past and an immeasurable price.
