Umberto Lenzi’s NIGHTMARE CITY Rips Its Way To Blu-ray From Raro Video!

Umberto Lenzi’s NIGHTMARE CITY is fucking crazy, and it absolutely delights me to say that it’s making its way to Blu-ray from Raro Video this October! Raro is a great label that’s been around for a couple of years; specializing in cinematic greats & not-so-greats of Italian genre fare, but every release is worth your attention. Hilariously titled CITY OF THE WALKING DEAD when it hit US shores as an edited cut, Raro is presenting it completely uncut and fully remastered in HD from the 35mm negative! Any label that pours thousands of dollars into a film of nasty sleaze-master Lenzi is a serious friend of mine.  Check out the 1080p trailer below to get a taste of the newly struck transfer, and relish in the gore-riffic insanity of NIGHTMARE CITY!

Cool little tidbit for the uninitiated: Do you remember Hugo Stiglitz, one of the basterds who received his own title credit introduction in Quentin Tarantino’s INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS? That fine name comes courtesy of NIGHTMARE CITY actor Hugo Stiglitz! Knowing is half the battle!

NIGHTMARE CITY invades, rips, and maims Blu-ray & DVD October 2013!
