It’s been 30 years since Rod Serling’s THE TWILIGHT ZONE was prepped for the big screen, and Warner Brothers thinks it’s time to re-enter the fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. A new iteration for cinemas has been brewing for a couple of years now (with many directors coming & going), but it looks like they may have found their guy. Word from The Wrap is TRON: LEGACY and OBLIVION director Joseph Kosinski has been chosen to enter THE TWILIGHT ZONE, which will either greatly excite or extremely disappoint depending on your stance of his filmography. There is no doubt that Kosinski know how to craft a polished and stylish sci-fi world, but his film’s lack heart or any sort of emotional resonance; a major component of what makes Serling’s legendary property tick.
No other details are known about the plot or if the film will be an anthology or not, so stay tuned.
