Vampires & Confusion Abound In FRIGHT NIGHT 2: NEW BLOOD Trailer!

This will be probably be taken down any minute due to it not being an official release from Fox, but while it’s up we wanted to share the first look at FRIGHT NIGHT 2: NEW BLOOD! You think this would be a direct continuation of the 2011 remake, right? Judging from the trailer below, that doesn’t appear to be the case. All of the characters are back (albeit played by different actors), meaning “Evil” Ed is alive and not a vampire. Also, the main vamp (played by the gorgeous Jaime Murray of DEXTER) is named Gerri Dandrdige, so make of this what you will. Just be warned, watching this may cause some confusion and groans.

Synopsis:

When high school student Charlie attends a study abroad program with his horror-obsessed friend “Evil” Ed and ex-girlfriend Amy in Romania, he soon discovers their young attractive professor Gerri (Jaime Murray, “Dexter”) is a real life vampire. Too bad no one believes him. In fact, Evil Ed finds it amusing, and it only feeds his vampire obsession. When Gerri turns Ed, Charlie seeks out Peter Vincent, the infamous vampire hunter (well, he plays one on TV) who is in Romania filming his show “Fright Night,” to teach him how to take down Gerri before she gets to Amy, whose blood will cure Gerri of spending eternity as a vampire.

FRIGHT NIGHT 2: NEW BLOOD hits DVD & Blu-ray October 1st!
