Studios are gearing up to hit San Diego’s Comic-Con hard this July, and A&E is definitely one of them. The cast and crew of its hit PSYCHO-based series, BATES MOTEL are all taking part in what we were told will be a “thought-provoking panel discussion” about show, on Saturday, July 20 from 10:00a -11:00a at the convention.
Going to be present at the panel, will be Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga (James Wan’s THE CONJURING, THE DEPARTED), Freddie Highmore (CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, FINDING NEVERLAND), Max Thieriot (HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET), Olivia Cooke (BLACKOUT) co-star Nestor Carbonell (“Lost,” THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) and executive producers Carlton Cuse (“Lost”) and Kerry Ehrin (“Friday Night Lights”)
“Bates Motel” serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film PSYCHO giving viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans have access to the dark, twisted backstory of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is. Season two of “Bates Motel” is currently in production and is slated to air early 2014.
