Hallelujah! NBC Has Renewed HANNIBAL For A Second Season!

For a minute there it looked like NBC was about to make the dumbest decision ever by cancelling HANNIBAL, Bryan Fuller’s (DEAD LIKE ME, PUSHING DAISIES) incredible TV series based on Thomas Harris’ novel RED DRAGON. Luckily they’ve realized HANNIBAL is the best show on network television, and have come to their senses by renewing the series for a second season! A 13 episode run has been ordered, and will be airing sometime next year.

If you haven’t been keeping up (what are you waiting for?!), HANNIBAL stars Hugh Dancy as expert criminal profiler Will Dancy, who has a unique ability to peer into the mind of serial killers. Mads Mikkelsen stars as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a psychiatrist who is helping with the cases and, unbeknownst to Will, is also a serial killer himself.

HANNIBAL airs every Thursday at 10/9c.

  1. So glad they renewed this show. I haven’t been this attached to a network show in ages. The acting, the music, and the look of this show is on par with stuff you would see on HBO and Showtime. Watch this show if you haven’t already!
