DEXTER’s Michael C. Hall Set to Star in Jim Mickle’s COLD IN JULY!!
Now that our beloved DEXTER is coming to an end after this season, fans have been wondering what its star is going to do next. Thanks to DEADLINE, news broke today that DEXTER himself, Michael C. Hall has been cast in the lead role in director Jim Mickle(STAKELAND, MULBERRY ST., the upcoming WE ARE WHAT WE ARE remake)’s upcoming film adaption of the Joe Lansdale novel, COLD IN JULY.
“He plays the protagonist Richard Dane, who shoots and kills an armed burglar in his living room. It’s a clear-cut case of self defense to everyone but the burglar’s father, who vows Old Testament-style eye-for-an-eye justice. Here, that means son for son. The cops, the feds, and the Dixie mafia all play a part in the ensuing mayhem.” Source: Deadline.com
