I wasn’t too big a fan of Robert Rodriguez’s faux grindhouse feature MACHETE ; fleshing out a 90 minute film from a 2 minute concept trailer isn’t exactly a recipe for success, but there was some fun to be had when it was in full on exploitation mode. Danny Trejo is a blast as the death serving Machete, and seeing Steven Seagal as a samurai-drug lord was worth the price of admission alone.

Now Machete is back with one hell of an ensemble of actors accompanying him in MACHETE KILLS. From Charlie Sheen as the President, Mel Gibson as a villainous arms dealer, to Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr, and Tom Savini! The first trailer has just premiered, and it’s chock full of babes, bullets, and machine gun breasts!

MACHETE KILLS opens wide September 13th.
