GRACE Director Paul Solet Heads Into A DARK SUMMER!

ds1

It’s been about 4 years since Paul Solet’s damn good directorial debut GRACE, but everyone’s favorite Jack Chop salesman is stepping behind the camera again for DARK SUMMER. Described as highly stylized modern ghost story, “the film follows Daniel Williamson, a 17 year old on house arrest for the summer. With his mother away on business, a horrifying incident occurs, followed by an even more terrifying presence in the house.”

Our pal Ryan Turek of Shock Till You Drop premiered the poster, which you can see above. I’m certainly digging the vintage border design and title treatment of the poster. The film will begin lensing this Fall, for a 2014 release.

What say you Fright-fans? Stoked for another film from fahkin’ Paul Solet? Icons own Robg & Adam Barnick are huge supporters of GRACE (Barnick even worked on it!), and we have a wealth of content on the site devoted to it. Check out Solet’s original short film/pitch that was presented to investors for financing of the feature, with exclusive commentary with Paul and effects artist Jason Alvino!
