BEYOND FRIGHT: Song Of The Week – BRING ME THE HORIZON “Chelsea Smile”

BMTH
Man oh man. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a “Song Of The Week.” Granted, for all I know you didn’t even notice, but alas, I’m feeling pretty good right about now. The weekend is upon us and I want to kinda kick it off with a rockin’ tune!

I’ve posted about BRING ME THE HORIZON in the past, primarily to showcase their latest music videos, but I’m going to go with probably my favorite tune by them “Chelsea Smile” from their second record “Suicide Season” because it came on in my car the other afternoon (god bless random play) and it made me immediately start headbanging, much to the confused looks of neighboring cars on the freeway. (Hey, it’s a long commute!) I grew up for the most part a metal head, but of course got into all genres of music, but there’s not too many modern “metal” bands that I can get into. However, a couple of years back, my buddy Blake introduced me to the UK based BRING ME THE HORIZON and it was the first time in ages I heard a band’s music that made me want to go out and break some shit! So here’s the song that did it for me. Crank it, enjoy it and have a great weekend, fiends!

Dude, I don’t know about the rest of the world, but you know I’ve been anxiously awaiting the return of my favorite Icons of Fright feature. Keep up the good work, Rob G, and keep the tunes rolling in a bit more often.
