Photoshoot-by-Yu-Tsai-daniel-radcliffe-28958739-529-674Thanks to VARIETY breaking the news, it’s been announced that Daniel Radcliffe (THE WOMAN IN BLACK, a little movie series called HARRY POTTER?..) is in final talks to play Igor in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming FRANKENSTEIN, written by Hollywood’s most hyper screenwriter, Max Landis (CHRONICLE), and to be directed by Paul McGuigan (LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN, PUSH).

Set to also star in the upcoming HORNS, an adaption of Joe Hill’s awesome novel, if all goes well, Radcliffe will begin filming FRANKENSTEIN this fall, following his run in the play Cripple of Inishmaan. Unlike most of any other adaptions of Mary Shelley’s classic novel, the script by Landis tells the story from the point of view of Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant, Igor. Sounds interesting, what do you Fright Fiends think?
