This is news piece of the day for me. The good folks over at Arrow in the Head are gearing up to host a marathon screening of not only Sam Raimi’s deadite trilogy, consisting of THE EVIL DEAD, EVIL DEAD II, and ARMY OF DARKNESS (with the first two films in 35mm!), but to top it all off, they’re throwing in Fede Alvarez’s upcoming remake EVIL DEAD as well. All four EVIL DEAD films. One place, one night only!
Check out the details below, and be sure to buy your tix here! I am definitely not missing this one, how about you Fright Fiends?
“Arrow in the Head’s very own Jimmy O will be presenting the marathon, which will also include rare trailers, prizes/giveaways, special guests (TBA), concessions specials and a bevy of EVIL DEAD-themed display items and props. Groovy? Groovy! So what are the details worth knowing?
The marathon takes place at the Regency Westwood Village Theatre (961 Broxton Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024) on Thursday, April 4th. General admission is $28, $23 for students. You can also purchase tickets for the first three films individually for $7.
Doors open at 5pm, with THE EVIL DEAD starting at 5:30pm. From then on, you can kiss your nerves goodbye!”
