Watch Guillermo Del Toro Intro The Original Short Of MAMA!
The supernatural and Guillermo Del Toro produced-horror film MAMA hits theaters January 18th, and to promote the release Del Toro has recorded an intro before the original short film that spawned the upcoming feature. The short has been online for a few years (and it’s somehow evaded me), but it’s creepy as hell and definitely warrants a second, or first look. Check that out below!
Taking a three minute short and turning it into a 100 minute film is definitely stretching it, but there seems to be a good bit of back story, scares, and mythology to fill the runtime throughout. We’ll find out for ourselves when MAMA crawls into theaters January 18th!
