Remastered HALLOWEEN 4 & 5 Blu-ray’s Coming August 28th!

Looks like Anchor Bay hasn’t quite abandoned releasing their catalog of cult films in favor of new independent features. While their output is nothing like their Criterion-esque releases during the heyday of DVD, they’ve managed to squeeze out fan favorites onto Blu-ray since the format’s inception. One title we can always guarantee to see multiple releases of is John Carpenter’s Halloween, which saw a myriad of editions on VHS & DVD, with only 1 Blu-ray release (so far). Anchor Bay’s other bread & butter title is the other Moustapha Akkad owned films, HALLOWEEN 4 & HALLOWEEN 5 and according to HalloweenMovies, August 28th sees the inaugural Blu-ray release that’s not only remastered in HD but includes brand new and old extras! Read on for all the details!

Michael Myers is back, and he’s never looked better. On August 28th, Anchor Bay Entertainment revamps two of the most iconic horror films to ever grace the big screen with Halloween 4 and Halloween 5. Coming to Blu-ray with all new HD transfers and over an hour of both archival and newly created bonus features, Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 both hit retail with an SRP of $24.99.
