Shock Till You Drop’s Ryan Rotten caught up with Dark House Entertainment’s Mike Richardson, the producer on the currently touring Bruce Campbell flick MY NAME IS BRUCE and was very optimistic for a sequel given the film’s performance thus far. The tour kicked off in New York City on Halloween night with Campbell presenting and fielding questions for a Q & A session after each screening and has been a success thus far. If this keeps up, the pair would love to tackle a MY NAME IS BRUCE 2.
Richardson told SHOCK, "We have an idea where [Bruce] is going to visit a country in Europe and he thinks he’s got an all-expense-paid stay there. They put him up in a big castle and he thinks there are groupies running around, but they’re not really groupies, they’re minions. It’s Bruce and he’s going to play the same clueless character." Read more on the sequel at SHOCK’s original post HERE, including the producer’s plans for Ted Raimi in the follow-up.
Written by Mark Verheiden, produced by Mike Richardson and directed by Bruce Campbell, MY NAME IS BRUCE stars Bruce Campbell, (the gorgeous) Grace Thorsen, Ted Raimi, Ellen Sandweiss, Danny Hicks, Tim Quill, Michael Kallio, Adam Boyd and Dani Kelly.
