Park Chan-Wook’s THIRST Finds A Leading Vampire!
We’re huge fans of filmmaker Park Chan-Wook who directed the "Vengeance" trilogy SYMPATHY FOR MR VENGEANCE, OLDBOY and LADY VENGEANCE. He’s been planning a vampire flick for a while, and word has it the official title is THIRST! Kim Ok-bin (ARANG, DASEPO NAUGHTY GIRLS) has been cast, along side THE HOST’s Song Kang-ho according to KTCcinema.com. The film is scheduled for a 9 month shoot (!), so we probably won’t get to see it until sometime 2009! More details, including the plot below!
Dread Central reports, "Thirst tells of a well-respected priest (The Host’s Song Kang-ho) who becomes a vampire after a failed medical experiment. He begins down a path of depravity with a new taste for flesh and blood involving the wife of his best friend, who will be played by Kim."
